Open Day, March 2024
On Saturday, 16 March 2024, Dive Action Cape Town once again opened its doors — and its pool — for an exhilarating Open Day. The event welcomed adventure-seekers of all ages, from curious first-timers to ocean lovers eager to learn more about the underwater world. It was a day brimming with excitement, laughter, and the spark of new aquatic journeys waiting to unfold.
Organized by our passionate Dive Action team, the Open Day gave newcomers a safe and supportive space to experience scuba diving for the very first time. Under expert guidance, participants learned the basics of diving and gained a glimpse into the possibilities that await in Cape Town’s surrounding Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
“Scuba diving isn’t just a sport; it’s a gateway to a whole new world beneath the waves,” shared one of our instructors. “Our goal was to ignite curiosity and adventure — and the smiles we saw throughout the day tell us we succeeded.”

The event was made possible with the generous support of our partners Aqualung and Nauticam South Africa, whose commitment to water sports and ocean conservation helps ensure safe, inspiring experiences for future divers.
