We have three main launch sites that we operate out of…

Hout Bay

Hout Bay is situated at the west side of the Cape Peninsula. You can get there by car, following the road along the west coast of Peninsula. From the Cape Town city centre drive to Camps Bay and from there all along the sea. You can also get there from the east side of the Peninsula and from the Cape of Good Hope. The harbour is well protected from the sea in all weather conditions, but is only used by divers when the south-west swell is low, and the wind is light or from the east.

False Bay

False Bay is located on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula of South Africa. The water in the bay is much warmer than the Atlantic Seaboard, partly being fed by the subtropical Agulhas current, making it popular for swimming. Horseshoe shaped, the bay provides some of the best beaches in South Africa and is patrolled by an active, effective Shark Spotting service keeping bathers safe. Protective shark nets have been installed at Fish Hoek, one of the most beautiful of the beaches. It includes over 300 named dive sites for which positions are recorded, which is a lot for any single destination.

Granger Bay

Granger Bay is located near the V&A Waterfront. You may have visited this area before to enjoy all the fabulous tourist attractions, but have you been diving around the coastline? Some of the very best dive sites on offer are just around the corner such as Coral Gardens and North Paw as well as some of the most gorgeous wreck dives. We often spend the boat drive home with the local dolphins surfing in our wake or a sunfish popping in to say hello. These sites are not to be missed.

Boat Charters – Cape Point

One of our most popular boat charters is our Tourist Run to Cape Point. We launch from Millers Point Slipway near Simonstown and take a nice cruise along the coastline to Cape Point. Here you get to experience and see the “Tip Of Africa” in a completely unique way as opposed to viewing it from land. Common sightings on these trips are pods of Dolphins which like to play in the bow wave of the boat.
