Prepare yourself for life-threatening emergencies and become a vital responder
The Emergency First Response® course teaches essential life-saving skills to respond effectively during critical moments between the onset of a life-threatening emergency and the arrival of emergency medical services. This course is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Dive Master courses, and must be completed within 24 months prior to enrollment.
– CPR: Master cardiopulmonary resuscitation to assist in cases of cardiac arrest
– First Aid: Improve your ability to handle a range of injuries and medical emergencies
– Choking: Learn how to help someone who is choking
– Spinal injuries: Understand how to assess and manage potential spinal injuries
– Bandaging and splints: Practice applying bandages and splints to injuries
Additionally, your EFR Instructor can provide specialized training for child and infant CPR or teach you how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Please ask for more details.
