The PADI Divemaster certification represents the highest level of leadership in recreational diving, second only to the PADI Instructor rating. This prestigious course is designed for experienced divers who want to refine their skills and take on greater responsibilities, including organizing and leading open water dives for certified divers. Upon completion, you will have the knowledge and expertise to manage diving activities and assist instructors, as well as gain the skills to work professionally in the dive industry.
As an active PADI Divemaster, you will be qualified to:
Organize and lead open water dives for certified divers in environments similar to those in which you’ve been trained.
Conduct PADI recognition and experience programs and award recognition materials.
Assist active PADI Instructors during diving courses.
With additional training, you can conduct specialized activities, such as wreck dives, Enriched Air Nitrox dives, or diving in new locations.
If all prerequisites are met, you can advance to the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), taking the next step toward becoming a PADI Instructor.
